Fortune Brands Home & Security is a manufacturer of home fixtures or hardwares. FBHS has headquarters in Deerfield, Illinois. The company has a variety of product lines and is based mainly within the United States. They are one of the largest companies of this type by net sales and have more than 23,000 associates. Fortune Brands Home & Security began on October 3, 2011, as a spinoff from Fortune Brands Holding Company. This was due to a new corporate strategy of divesting themselves from unrelated product lines and focusing on their primary liquor business. Fortune Brands soon became Beam Incorporated and was then purchased by Suntory to become Beam Suntory in April 2014. Some of the products that this company has include Master Lock, Sentry Safe, Master Brand Cabinets, Thurman True Entry Door Systems, Waterloo Tool Storage Products, and Moen Faucets.

FBHS is primarily located in the United States, but they have operations all over the world and have even announced plans to expand even further. One of the major places where this brand is expanding is Canada. However, they also have teams in operations in Mexico, China, Japan, and throughout Europe. They are a publicly traded company and during the 2017 fiscal year, they reported revenue of $5.41 billion with revenue per share at $36.09. They also had quarterly revenue growth of 4.7 percent and showed a gross profit of $1.94 billion.
